We’re in the process of finalizing a location. I’m meeting with Dan and the Impromptu Studios gang next week, but that certainly looks like a good home for this group. I’ll confirm next week – but it looks like we’re going to try a weeknight evening the week of August 11.
I’m also happy to announce that we have at least one speaker ready to go. Former colleague and web magician, Justin will be leading a casual discussion and overview of Django. Justin’s been using the Python-based framework for a very elegant and robust asset management tool.
If you have a topic or project you’d like to share please contact us and well reserve a spot on the agenda.

I’d like to hear what people think makes the most sense. I want to get the first of these underway and wonder what works best for all of you. Would you prefer a Sunday afternoon or a weekday evening? Leave a comment and let me know.

I’ve managed to geta site up and running. I’ll be transition to a WP-backed setup soon so that everyone can contribute, comment, etc. For now I’m working on locations, dates, etc. Right now I think we may have a spot for a meeting next week or the week after. If you want to keep up-to-date (until RSS is up) follow up on twitter.
