Presenters & Topics
We’re in the process of finalizing a location. I’m meeting with Dan and the Impromptu Studios gang next week, but that certainly looks like a good home for this group. I’ll confirm next week – but it looks like we’re going to try a weeknight evening the week of August 11.
I’m also happy to announce that we have at least one speaker ready to go. Former colleague and web magician, Justin will be leading a casual discussion and overview of Django. Justin’s been using the Python-based framework for a very elegant and robust asset management tool.
If you have a topic or project you’d like to share please contact us and well reserve a spot on the agenda.

I’m looking forward to the first gathering and learning something about django. How long do you think these meetings will be and how many topics can we fit into the agenda?

my hope is to have 1-2 speakers/discussion leaders per session. Have 15 minutes or more up front to mingle then these casual presentations/discussions. So I’d say good topics and good discussion be about a 90 minute gathering – more if folks want to really dig in.
If no one else presents I’ll have a topic or two ready after JuStin – it will get easier after the first one.
