April 6th Meeting – Web Application Security

We’ll be meeting again this Monday at 7:00 at our usual venue Impromptu Studios. This month we’ll be treated to a demonstration by local security guru, Josh More. The plan is to demonstrate some modern security analysis software to show how you can monitor and improve the security of your website. Content will be very practical and targeted at all skill levels so everyone who comes should leave knowing at least a little more than they do now.
If you’d like to have your site analyzed please get management approval before the meeting. Josh is a true white-hat and won’t go probing your site unless someone in authority has given the OK. We’ll install some common web applications as well.
After the meeting we’ll enjoy some refreshments near by. Location TBD. See you there!
