Web Dojo, Monday July 2nd at Goodsmiths, Prototype Faster

We’re excited to announce our next Dojo meeting on Monday, July 2nd. We’ve got a few changes though, a new location and a new time. We’ll be meeting at the Goodsmiths’ office in Valley Junction, the same location where we had the social event. In case you had trouble finding parking on the street, there is ample parking behind the building. We’ll also be meeting a little earlier than usual at 6:00 but there will be food and beverages.

NO JOKE – YOU NEED TO SIGN UP – SPACE IS LIMITED. HERE IT IS IN A NUTSHELL:

  • Sign up now
  • Show up at Goodsmiths at 6:00pm (or so) on Monday July 2nd
  • Eat food kindly provided by the people at Paragon IT recruiting until 6:30-ish
  • Dojo till you drop – the topic is “prototype faster”

For those who like more details, we’re going to start at 6:00 with eating and chatting, then we’ll form into teams of 3 people each. At that point, we’ll announce the challenge for the dojo and begin working away. If you’re a coder, you can code. If you’re a designer, you should design, if you’re none of the above, scribble on a napkin, look up reference material and/or try your hand at coding and designing. We try hard to make these events fun for all types of web geeks.

Oh, and I forgot to mention another big change. We’re limiting attendance to 18 people. This way we can be sure to have enough food and drink for everyone and to manage the team sizes. For those who want to attend but either can’t be physically present or aren’t able to be one of the 18 people to register, consider organizing your own 3 person team and joining us via Google+.

Excited? You NEED to RSVP by signing up here on EventBrite.

Can’t make it but want to participate? We’ll be doing another Google Hangout and you can form a remote team (one or more people needed for a team).
