Adobe Topcoat CSS Framework Web Dojo – Monday Oct 14th

Have you heard about Adobe’s new open source CSS framework? Topcoat was designed with performance as their number one goal. Monday Oct 14th, you’re not just going to hear about it, you’re going to learn to use it. (here’s a good intro tutorial if you want to read up on it)

Come join us at Goodsmith’s as we explore the capabilities of this new tool and put it through it’s paces. Is it as fast as they say? What can it do, what can’t it do? Come join us and find out!

Each month, Des Moines Web Geeks hosts a “code dojo,” an event that helps us learn new tools and techniques. We work together to do some hands-on development while trying to solve a mystery challenge. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don’t, but we always come away learning something new.

Join us at 6:30pm on Monday Oct 14th at Goodsmith’s in Valley Junction, 218 1/2 5th St West Des Moines, IA 50265. For best results, bring a laptop with Git installed, but if you can’t, still come, there will be plenty to share with.

It’d be great if you can RSVP, either by leaving a comment here or on our Facebook event page.
