10th Anniversary
It’s been 10 long incredible years. Web Geeks started way back in 2008 as a fledgling user group for web designers. Over the years we have met some awesome friends, learned cool tech trends and built apps in brand new emerging technologies (well at the time that’s what they were). Our group has grown from just a few geeks to hundreds of the geekiest people found all over Iowa. Our open source projects have been used as code resources and learning tools. We introduced our geeks to a relatively unknown CSS framework, helped WordPress developers make their site mobile friendly, and built an application in a brand new browser API for building real-time video apps. And, that’s only a small percent of the incredible work this group has done.
