April Dojo: TDD with React
Come join the DSM WebGeeks as we dig into test driven development (TDD) with React. Learn how to bring order to the chaos of UI development by applying pure test-driven development to an application built using React. The evening will start off with an overview on React from AJ Whatling, followed by a hands on session. BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) so you can follow along! Recently a graduate of the world of Scala, and presently reclining on the island of Java, AJ’s true roots have always been in JavaScript. In fact, JavaScript was the first programming language that he struggled to teach himself. Weeks of studying a small tutorial on JavaScript in high school were enough to pave the way to a love for the entire stack of development. These days, AJ keeps his JS skills honed by maintaining a cavalcade of side projects in Node, React, and Angular.
