PHP in the Cloud: Jelastic PHP by @chadothompson

A few weeks ago, I noticed an interesting tweet from Ben Milne, the CEO of a (local to Des Moines) startup called Dwolla:

I crafted a quick response, but had to admit that my PHP architecture skills have grown a little rusty in past few years, as I’ve spent most of my time with JavaEE-based solutions. Given some recent trends, I wanted to take a new look around the PHP-sphere and get to know some options for deploying PHP applications. This post is a first look at a cloud deployment of a PHP application using a recently announced service – the Jelastic PHP Cloud.
