September meeting – special date, special speaker!
Our regularly scheduled meeting for September is on Labor day so we’re rescheduling two weeks later to September 21st at 7:00 pm. And to make this meeting even more special we’ll be having internationally renowned speaker and author John VanDyk talking about server side performance and optimization.
John VanDyk is well known for authoring the definitive book for Drupal developers, “Professional Drupal Development.” I spoke to Apress, publisher of this book and they’re giving us a special deal of 50% off the e-book and 35% off the printed edition. I’ll post details on how to get the discount to the group mailing list.
And to add just a little bit more excitement, we’ll be celebrating our first anniversary! Just a little over one year ago @dsmwebgeeks had it’s first meeting. How should we celebrate? If you have a suggestion, leave a comment.
