Teaching Tech to Non-Technical People
When we teach, we learn. Antoinette Stevens has a passion for teaching, and she’s creating a non-profit that helps teach non-technical adults the basics of web development. Through her company, Reboot Iowa, she hopes to teach people the skills they need to be marketable as employees in a modern workplace. She’ll talk about her project and her motivations behind teaching adults web development.

Antoinette is an IT Security Professional for Principal. She has spoken at previous Des Moines Web Geeks events about WordPress and security. In her free time, she is an Iowa Stormchaser Dancer for the Iowa Barnstormers.
