The User Experience

The user experience is a broad and complex subject. It takes a team of designers, developers, and project managers to get it right. But, in order to do so you need to understand the complexities involved, the differences in the possible mediums, and the processes and tools that allow you to get there.

We’ll hear from Ellen Butler on comparing the user experience in web and in product design. Additionally, Eric Rowely will talk to us about understanding the requirements of a client, and how to get it right.

We will be meeting on Monday, October 11th at 6:30pm at The Forge (1420 Locust St, Des Moines, IA 50309). Food and drinks provided by Pillar Technology.

If you’ll join us, we’d love for you to RSVP on Facebook and on EventBrite.

Everyone that attends will also be entered into a drawing to win a free pass to the Prairie Code conference. Find out more information about speakers and workshops at http://prairiecode.amegala.com/. You may also receive a 10% discount if you use the code “WebGeeksUG” when purchasing your tickets.
