Javascript Web Dojo, June 6th

Welcome web geeks of all types, we’ve got an exciting event planned for 7pm on Monday, June 6th at Foundry Coworking, downtown Des Moines. We’ll be exploring some techniques to make your website more useful and interesting by adding a bit of javascript. As is typical for our Monday night events, this will be a web dojo.

“What is a web dojo?” you ask? It is a collaborative learning event where we break into teams to complete a surprise task. People of all skill levels and talents are welcome and we’ve found the more variety we have better the evening is. Since each team’s composition is different, each solution tends to also be different. After the allotted time each group presents their results. It’s a great way to exercise your problem solving skills and learn new perspectives and techniques.

If this sounds like the kind of fun you’re into, please come. You are welcome to RSVP either by leaving a comment here or on our Facebook event page. We love to know in advance how many to expect but if you don’t respond we’ll still let you participate.
